About LinkBacks*sigh* have OG Droid & have installed several roms. d/led Chevy's latest & followed Yakitori's instructions as I had issues with random reboots daily in the last rom & went back to 4.96. when I went to install the new rom, after wiping and formating, the update.zip file is not there. tried to get back into CR and try again, and cannot get into the bootloader. I get what looks like the standard Moto b/l screen:
Bootloader 2C.7C
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
when I connect the cable, verbiage changes to Transfer Mode: USB
help anyone? please tell me I haven't bricked my phone

03-10-2011 12:01 PMyou don't want to go into the bootloader screen - you want to boot into recovery. hold down the x key and press power button until screen comes on. release power button and keep pressing x until boot into recovery.

03-10-2011 12:13 PMthx husker... I was able to get into CM recovery, still says my update isn't there. changed to install from sd card and found it... loading now.......... PHEW. don't even want to take my blood pressure right this moment. thanks again!

03-10-2011 12:16 PMno prob! for future reference, the only time you need to boot into the bootloader is if you are flashing a .sbf file, which is rather rare. for rom flashing, you do it thru recovery.
