    You will need to put this apk in /system/app - so you will need rootexplorer or something similar. OR you can do it via adb on the command line ...

    Dang it. I've been on 4.9 since the day it came out, tried installing 4.95 when it came out, and before the boot animation would finish loading, the screen would just go blank, though I could tell it was still on. Just tried installing 4.96 and the same thing happened. I might do a bkapps and wipe and try, but I'll probably just wait until 5.0 is released. Just thought I'd let you know Chevy, that the install goes fine, but for some reason something gets jacked up when it's booting up somewhere.
