need a little info on wifi

Well for one your data speeds will be better, and you'll get a bit of increase on the battery.

I don't know what else you're looking for.

Pretty much what I said.

Plus, you don't use cellular data. So, if you have a limited data plan, data you use won't count towards it.

Leave wifi off unless you don't have signal. If your at home an want faster data speeds, turn on wifi as most wifi networks have faster data speeds than 3G.

However if you leave wifi on when not connected to a Hotspot it will drain your battery more.

There is no benefit to having wifi on unless you are connected to a wireless network.
