    RAM is very low

My RAM is about 40MB. How do I find why it is so low, and what can I do about it?

    Ram or internal memory?
If it's ram, don't worry about it, Linux uses ram differently than a windows PC does, and until you hit a certain low threshold, you'll be fine (task Killers actually are bad on Linux)
If it's internal memory, install some stuff

It is RAM. I know that more RAM help a pc run faster, and my phone has been very slow. My RAM was around 95MB and much faster, are they related?

It all depends on what's running, windows memory management is completely different from Linux (what Android is based off of.)

I'd check and see what's eating up all the ram.
If you have rooted your phone, install v6 supercharger script, it'll help

    If you download terminal emulator,
type in "ps > /sdcard/pid.txt" and with post it here (either in code tags, or as an attachment) or send it to me (nielson.peter@gmail.com) if you don't feel like having it as public info, I'll walk you through what's eating up your ram.
Note: I cannot stress this enough, task killers = bad (Android automatically kills processes to free up space, task killers kill then prematurely, so they start back up right again)

Here's the link for V6: [Script][MOD][U9RC5.2][ICS]100% OverHaul!-=V6 SuperCharger=-The ONLY RAM Fixer KAK&3G - xda-developers (please read before you install, it'll probably be over your head (heck, most of it's over my head) but it's still good to know)

Also, if you sent it via gmail phone app, i've been having that flake out with attachments of recent, if you can send it by pc, that'd be awesome :P

(FYI at midnight C.S.T I'm going to bed, if i haven't responded by then, i'll respond in the morning)

If your email is md*********@aol.com, I recieved an email from you, but there was nothing in the body of the email, and also there was nothing attached (should be pid.txt)

Otherwise, somebody was pretty quick off the trigger with sending me an email that had nothing in it/no attachment with the subj. droid forum.... bravo if you were somebody else, you were most definitly fast!
