can't send pictures thru text messaging

for some reason I cant send pictures thru text messaging. I could when I first got the phone, and I'm pretty sure I havent done anything to change that. Any one have any ideals. Oh, I can text plain messages fine

If your on wifi try shutting it off while sending and receiving pictures, it's ask I can think of

thx that worked, I must be getting senile, i should have thought of that especially after I got those notices from verizon that I couldnt access my account with wifi on

Yeah, you should be able to send and receive MMS/picture messages when WIFI is on, but I've noticed android sometimes has a problem letting go of WIFI in order to pickup 3G or 1X to go and retrieve them or send them out if your on wifi already.

I think it's a problem with Android as a whole, not just the Casio Commando. I've seen it happen on my Original Droid, as well as my (fairly new) Droid 3.

It's called a routing loop. Windows has problems with it too. One network connection at a time is usually best.

I had the same problem. It got to a point of me getting so pissed i threw at against my wall. Then i figure out that if i take out the battery for a few minutes and put it back in, turn the phone on, then restart it again, it worked fine. Try that if u havent and see if it works. If not, sorry.

i had the same problem too. worked fine for a while, then they started failing. did the same thing, turned off wifi, pics would send. they take forever though. it says "sending" for quite a while before it finally gets sent.

I still have the problem with wi-fi turned off. My wife has an iPhone and she has no issues. My next phone will be an iPhone. I hate this Droid. Ugh.
