copy album from Casio Commando to pc?

Help please! I am new to the smart phone thing and this is definitely smarter than a 5th grader.
How can I copy a whole photo album from my Casio Commando to my computer? I have plugged it in to the computer and found in in the directory but no pictures show in the directory. What do I need to do?

The pictures should be in DCIM/Camera on the sd.

I can view the pictures on the phone but can not get them transferred to my laptop. What are the steps I need to take to make a successful transfer? Think of me as a retarded smart phone user and give me step-by-step directions please.

Hook up the phone to the pc with the usb and enable it. Should see an icon in the status bar. Pull down the status bar and hit the usb icon and connect it. You should see the phone as another drive on the pc. Go to the DCIM folder, on the phone, then the camera folder. Once there, just drag and drop. At least thats how I do it on my D1.
