Extended amount of time deleting emails. Commando > original Droid

Anyone else having this problem?

I get email regularly from 3 active accounts.

Try and delete multiple emails at the same time and it seems to take forever... sometimes minutes and sometimes it doesn't delete all of them

Going into each individual email to delete it while in view seems to be faster, but that too can take a long time

When this happens I get a "Please wait while deleting message(s)..." pop up and can not view any other emails until email is deleted... which is over an extended period of time.

Anyone know how to fix this problem????? I didn't have this problem with the original Droid.

I have the same problem - for me it doesn't happen with all e-mails just certain ones - hope the fix is found soon --- ----- -------

Nope! Mine runs super fast when deleting multiple emails

But I only use one email account, which is my gmail using the gmail app

I called verizon with this problem. They had me dile *228 and press 1 when I got the promt. After the download I rebooted the phone and was able to deleat e-mail - hope it works for you --- ----- -------
