    Replament phone arrived today....

    Update successful.

    Will test "improved battery life" claim to night with unrooted-stock phone.

    Same thing here...got mine a few days back. Came non-updated but the first thing I did was update. So far I am pleased!

    While I was waiting I went back to my original DROID. Even overclocked, the Commando is noticeable faster. I didn't even have any complaints with my DROID and didn't even want to upgrade, but now I can say I am happy I did.

    For those of you hold-outs...don't. You won't be disappointed.
