I can charge my Commando fine while plugged into an AC outlet, but when i take the same USB cord and plug it into a USB adapter for the cigarette lighter, it dosn't charge. Is there something that I am not doing right?
Thanks.....
I cannot sync my Facebook contacts with my commandos contacts, is anyone else having the problem? I was told there was supposed to be an update months ago to fix this

i was given the commando by my kids cause i am hard on cell phones. i am just learning how to use it.
how do i unstall some of the predinstalled stuff like nfl something and the like
i was also given a hard plastic case and a rubber cover that goes over it. i like the protection but i would like to try a cradle to chargfe. can i do that with the rubber case.
bear with me im cpomputer illererate
To uninstall the preinstalled software (or, also known as bloatware) you need to root (also known as jailbreaking or giving yourself administrator privileges) your phone, which can void warranty. (I have to re-look over the warranty to know for sure)
After you have rooted your phone, you need to install a 3rd party program (like titanium backup *root) to uninstall the bloatware.
I'd you decide to do this, be very careful, deleting the wrong thing can brick (also known as your phone is useful as a paperweight, and nothing else) your phone.
So, in short, if you want bloatware uninstalled, give it to your kids they'll probably be able to get it done in no time ;-) (I'm my parents/in-laws tech support :-P )

well my children say im really hard on cell phones hence the extra protection
I hear ya, Igor. I went thru my fair share of phones before I started using the Casio Gzone line. They are pretty tough phones though & might not need the extra protection as much as other phones.
I work for a trucking company & we have about a dozen of these phones being used & abused by truck drivers & mechanics. So far, so good.
I use the charging cradle exclusively to charge mine, thinking that any opening of the port covers is reducing the effectiveness of the gaskets sealing them off.
