I want to change what appears on the bottom menu(?) bar on the home screens. The photo below shows what i am talking about. It shows phone, msgs, maps, apps, internet etc. Mine has the buttons for the 2 screens to the left and the 2 buttons for screens to the right.
This is probably my first post b/c I have always found what i needed in the forums. Don't know what to call that bar?? thanks!!!

I believe you just "long press" an icon in the Dock and you will get a Pop-Up message with some options ie: change shortcut/swipe gestures and maybe a few others

10-02-2010 04:09 PMi tried that. i get the 5 different home screens pop up. Ie.. i can switch directly to one of those and that's all I can see that happens.

10-02-2010 04:15 PMYou got 5 screens pop up because you pressed the "Home" button. Instead, you should press the one (at the bottom of the homescreen, 1 of 5 apps), for 2 sec or longer, then you will see a popup titled with "Edit Dock Shortcut"...
follow the instruction .... -

10-02-2010 04:30 PMI may be missing something...I have long pressed all of the 1-5 ...The 2 dot on the left...gives 5 home screens, phone and internet...nothing but phone or internet, center button gives 5 home screens, and right 2 dots give the 5 home screens.
Am i totally missing something???
BTW...running the latest Bugless v.5 and 928 black glass theme. maybe this will help.

Can you confirm what launcher it is that you have, it looks like Launcher Pro, but it could be ADW Launcher

Op, if your running launcher pro then what tp said is true.
If not try dragging an app icon in the spot you want it. The 5 previews at the bottom remind me of the 2.1 launcher or even helix
