Good to know. Curious if this will be rolled out with a baseband update.
No baseband update with FRG01b. If there were one we would already have released it when we released it originally.
If there is no baseband update then why have alot of people updated to the newer basebands that were released with the orginal leaks? Where they just test basebands or something? Are you saying that the newest baseband that was leaked out is not going to be in the update when it rolls out for verizon? If this is so i am on the newst one which is C 01.43.01p should I revert back to the one that was released with 2.1 (i forget the numbers for it)
Sorry just curious as to why those basebands were leaked if we are not actually getting a baseband update with froyo from verizon
I have had better battery life with the older baseband 1.3E.03P than i did with 1.43.01P....so much so that i felt that 43 was unusable b/c my phone would be dead after a work day. I can get a full day of heavy use or a day and a half with moderate use.
I asked about the baseband because the one posted here seems to have mixed results for folks. I ended up downgrading.
You can download it here just go to the downloads section.![]()

yeah it seems people hav emixed results because with the newer baseband it seems i have more bafrs and a faster browser. Maybe i will go back to the one release with 2.1 just to test that again but the orginal froyo the browser was slower then 2.1 when i was on the 2.1 baseband. I upgraded and have more brs and faster browser
