Here's the thing. The company you work for pays you money, and expects something in return. One thing they expect is that you will keep their data secure. You may not believe that the company information that is on your phone would cause detriment to the company if it were stolen, but 1) there are employees whose phones do contain such information, 2) you might not realize what someone could do with what little data they could get off your phone, and 3) your company probably doesn't make different policies for every employee.
Why does this matter to me? Because I might be a stakeholder in or customer of your company (or a stakeholder in or customer of a customer of your company), and what you do with its data could affect me. Certainly there are others it could affect besides yourself. I've worked at a bank and have seen what happens when people deliberately bypass company policies regarding the security of data.
Suppose you came to me for a loan, and because I decided to bypass company policy, your name, address, social security number, drivers license number, and credit report were compromised. Would that be important to you? Or perhaps you were just a stockholder in the bank, and my negligence with information resulted in a lawsuit that depressed the stock price, causing you to lose money? How would you look upon my asking for "information" then?
So yes, you're just asking for "information," not a lecture. But in doing so, you're asking the android community to help you unsecure information that belongs to your company for the sake of your convenience. You may very well find a way to do what you're asking, but please, think about the ramifications of what you're trying to do. If it is that big of an inconvenience, then just ask to have the phone disconnected from the company network entirely.
