    How do I unroot and go back to current stock 2.1 from BB 0.4?

    Hello,
    I sold my droid and now have a Droid X. The ebayer who purchased my droid wants it to be stock and not rooted with BB 0.4. (i know...not cool at all...)

    How do I unroot and establish the current stock 2.1 for the motorola droid from BB 0.4?

    Also, the phone is currently not activated...all i have is a wifi connection. Does this cause any potential problems getting unrooted, etc.?

    Also...when i try to go back to stock using rom manager, it doesn't work...phone just reboots. Is this a known issue with 0.4? Any other ways to unroot and get to current stock 2.1 (so that the buyer will get the OTA for 2.2 when released?)

    in rom manager, did you make sure to install the clockwork recovery? if so, try to re-install it. i recall having an issue of installing the cw recovery then trying to install a rom which failed (it never went into recovery mode to install the rom). if that still doesn't work than use google to search for "motorola rsd lite" and the .sbf that was mentioned earlier. i think the .sbf is almost like an image file that the motorola rsd lite utility drops onto your phone.

    Thanks for the response. Yes, i did re-flash clockwork. I even wiped and cleared cache and installed Cynagon mod and then went back to rom manager and started afresh. I get the same error message regardless of what rom i am using. I am attaching a photo i took that names the error. If anyone can help me get this unrooted tonight, I will be VERY appreciative!
