    Doin this right?

I hate to say it but I'm a noob at this and been trying figure all this out on my own but I think I screwed up somewhere. It's my first time trying to install a theme on my Droid and I really want this smoked glass theme I downloaded from here Smoked Glass for BB 0.4
but something went wrong (and scared the piss out-a me, thank god for nandroid restore!) I tried using rom manager to "install from sd card" smoked_glass_bb04_update_V11.zip and everything seemed fine but wouldn't reboot after it just kept cycling. My system info now is,
    version: 2.2
    Kernel: 2.6.32.9-P3droids
    Build: Bugless Beast V0.1
Any help would be great, and sorry for the long post. thnx

Yes I am and I used nandroid restore to get back up just don't know what went wrong, thought my build verson might be wrong but I was sure I got the latest, but it does say V0.1 is that right?

IMO, that is the best way to go, never trust something you can do your self...SP recovery will always get you out of a jam, let the newbies boot-loop with CM...LOL...if you find them stuck, tell them to flash their image twice, that is their only hope...

You're using BB v0.1 but you tried to install a theme for BB v0.4. It should be obvious why it didn't work...

Either update to BB v0.4 and then apply the theme, or find a smoked glass theme for BB v0.1.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but you have BB. 0.1???? And your trying to flash smoked glass for BB 0.4? Could that be your problem or is there a typo somewhere?

Damn, I thought that was the case but I was sure I d/l and installed v0.4 and though maybe v0.1 in the phone info was something I didn't understand. Thanks.

You don't have to wipe from 0.1 to 0.4 but if you have problems you may want to wipe and reinstall.
