So, I dunno if anyone else has done this, but just thought I'd give my two cents.

Firstly, I must say, that this is the first Froyo ROM I decided to try. And must I say I am very pleased! Running with a 1.1 ULV kernal, things couldn't be smoother!

PS - FLASH IS AWESOME!

As for theming, I tried a few things. As expected, the DE port for 1.1 did NOT work.

I tried the Droid X theme, and didn't really entirely like all the red. So I installed the smoked glass over it. Well, what do we have here? A combined effort?

Looks real nice, I must say. Though I had to go through my backups and reinstall Helix Launcher (the first one) since the Market wouldn't find it!?

All in all, A VERY satisfying ROM, keep up the good work Pete!

I posted on this thread 100 post ago, just thought I would update again, BB FRF84b is truly a bugless beast!

Running this ROM since launch, and I have to say that I didn't notice much difference in performance from most of the Froyo ROMs I have tried, but a huge battery difference with this one so far (Most others would barely last for 16-18 hours).

Excellent work Pete, and a real treat to see the Froyo version starting to "feel" like the BB v1.1 that I would have bore children with.

Just wanted to say thank you for all your work. i have only used chevys roms until 2.2 i had alot of reboot problems tho i still use his kernals they tend to be the best for my phone.so i tried your v0.3 and had no problems at all and i love your tool kit, talk about making scripts easy!! Now im on v0.4 and wow you are the best!! and much easier to theme your roms as the development community tends to make sure your roms work on them first


p.s. the recovery shortcuts and built in overclock is incredible

Well thanks for your help guys finally got bb. 4 and black glass theme working. I had to clear my download cache in rom manager and reflash clockworkmod recovery again but it finally works. Thanks guys.

you both are the ones being ASSES by not helping out a fellow member facebook and twitter are exactly what I stated whats wrong with that?

since it didnt seem like anybody else answered your question ill answer it because i dont wanna see your stupid posts

simply do this, download root explorer from the market (yes you gotta pay for it) go to SYSTEM then APP. from there just find the facebook and twitter application, mount as R/W (read/write) up at the top, and just delete them from your phone.

another way is to simply UNINSTALL them from your phone.

oh and another piece of advice, the next time you wish to ask for help do it in a NICE way, and by i mean ask people for assistance dont just make your text bigger, bold it, capitalize it, and command people to tell you what to do, because when you do that people will probably look at it and think "what an ***, i dont wanna help him"
