since last night i been getting notifications of a new update size about 1.6Mb to be able to install flash 10.1 from the market. obviously it wont install. anyone got any word on this?

I am receiving the same thing. The stop OTA fix a few posts above does not seem to work for this specific issue.

If you have installed either petes original stop ota patch or the one above, just allow the phone to install it. It should fail out and everything should be back to normal after the reboot

I Applied the patch again, and it installed successfully, didn't fail out. But it worked! Victory!

No one seems to have asked, a seemingly obvious (or perhaps total noob) question about this OTA... Is it possible that it adds something that we don't already have? Is it an OTA version of this?

It comes with flash avail in the market and frg22d security mumbo jumbo. Neither of which are compatible with bbv0.4 which runs on 84 and not 01b. But all this will be in bbv0.5 which pete is basing off of frg22d.

I hope I have not made a mistake here, but I installed the MetaMorph SimplyStunning Cyan USB and since the install and reboot, my Bugless v0.4 has been acting shaky. How should I go about uninstalling the USB "mod" and returning back to the norm?

Normally you are suppose to make a back up of your rOM using ROM manager and keep that on your SD card. Assuming you did you can "restore" that ROM with RM and your good to go. If not, use this link to install another theme, called watermark for BBv04. Watermark'D General I think you will really like it.

I like the images they show. One thing I REALLY like about the Smoked Glass theme I am running now is the battery %age in the batter icon. Allowed me to remove Battery Status Pro....

Could I reinstall the Smoked Glass theme and it "replace" the SimplyStunning USB I installed?

Yeah, I believe SS "Blue" theme is on ROM manager. Remember to always make a back copy before doing anything on ur phone.

Not real sure about Metamorph, I always boot into recovery and install zip from SD and find the theme and install that way. seems to work better,

Simply stunning themes are generally for ChevyNO1 SS4.7 ROMs. BBv04 has it's own themes and it's not a good idea to mix them...

Yeah, I found that out. I am new to all of this and didnt do ALL the reading before I installed. I will try to reinstall the smoked glass theme and see what happens......
