bb froyo cant watch flash

This is a discussion on bb froyo cant watch flash within the Bugless forums, part of the Custom Roms category; I think its the adblocker keep getting error about ad blocker.......

    bb froyo cant watch flash

    I think its the adblocker keep getting error about ad blocker....
    Galaxy nexus aokp m5 w/ Franco kernel

    You mean YOU can't watch flash? Mine watches flash just fine...
    Cool CM Tricks
    custom_backup_list.txt - make a list of files in /system that will survive a nightly install (ringtones, notifications, system apps, wallpapers, whatever)
    in Terminal Emulator, set this as your shell command: "/system/xbin/su -c /system/xbin/bash". You get all the features of bash, root access, and you can still use the initial command field for whatever you want (default is adding /data/local/bin to your path)

    I've got flash installed - and can go to some web sites. But HBO.com says i dont have flash installed when i go to it? Does it work for anybody else?

    I get the same thing when I go to HBO's site. Other flash-based sites work for me, though.

    Looks like HBOs site detects that you are a mobile device and just assumes that you don't have flash - it doesn't even try to load.

    Try the hulu hack - go to about:debug, then go into the browser settings and set the UAString to be Desktop. It works for me, but it's very kludgy.

    Ya have flash works fine on other roms but this one shows loading circle then says error video unavailable or is being blocked by a adblocker in ur browser.
