Battery life on v0.2 compared to v0.1

Anyone notice that the battery life on 0.2 is trash compared to 0.1? Don;t get me wrong, pete makes the best roms always functioning the best and ALWAYS the best battery life.

v0.2 seems to eat battery compared to v0.1, and i did NOT do a wipe coming from 0.1 so it's all the same settings.

Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

I had horrible battery life today. I unplugged my phone at ~8:00am and I was already at 15% by 11:00. I did a full wipe of data and cache when I applied the rom.

I am using the Chevys LV 1.0ghz kernel, same as I was with BB 0.1. with BB 0.1 I had the best battery like I had ever gotten and it was still at 80% when I got home form work (after listening to music for most of the day with it)

I tried a reinstall today, hopefully it helps

I think it is 0.1 and 0.2 with bad battery life. On bb android 2,1 roms I had much better battery life. On 0.2 my battery at 30% charges for an hour and now it is 90%. That never happened to me before on any other bb or ss or even cyanogen.

I am not running setcpu and I am using p3 lv 1.2ghz kernel with 250 being minimum

I had really good battery life with 0.1 . That was after coming from 2.1 (BB 1.1)

I've used P3's 1.25Ghz kernel on both V0.1 and V0.2 and I see the same great battery usage. I'm pretty happy - no issues so far.

Pretty similar to my situation, yesterday after a full day of use i get home and have 70% (connected to wifi ALL day)

and it's only 2pm today and im at 30%

Guess ill be reinstalling my v0.1 backup tonight

I'm seeing about the same battery life on 0.2 as I did on 0.1.

Both a little worse than BB1.1, but that's expected.

such weird mix results, 0.1 was 10000x better battery life than 1.1 on my phone.

Everyone running Chevy's kernel should try a P3 kernel, and see if that increases your batterylife.

Haven't fully analyzed it, but IMO wifi and voice calls have improved on battery life, but display seems to be eating quite a bit more.

In total, looks to me about 80% of battery life I got with 1.1 (I always leave my screen on). If true, it stands to reason that people with minimal display usage are seeing equal or better battery life and those who leave display on a lot more and/or higher brightness settings have seen significant deterioration.
