I'm fairly new to rooting and I just installed Pete's Bugless Beast RC 0.1 aka Froyo on my Droid.
So far, so good. I want to overclock my Droid to 1 ghz, so what would the best Kernal be?
Also, I hear different Kernals have different battery life... is that true?
If so, I want the best one. Link would be nice as well.

06-12-2010 03:45 PMIt also isn't something that can be charted or ranked. What works best on my droid doesn't necessarily mean it will work best on yours--even if we had the same ROM and same apps/widgets loaded and running, and used them in exactly the same way.
Some users get great satisfaction with chevy's ULV, while for others it is giving them reboots (enough that he his going to release 4.1 of Simply Stunning with his LV, not the ULV which 4.0 currently has).
The best thing you can do is try different developers, as well as different kernels by the same developer, until you find one that works best on your device. -
