So...will YOU be switching to froyo?

Well the froyo ROM is out, as found on the main page of the site.

I'm curious if you Beasts will keep BB 1.1 for now, or try out the froyo ROM

I'm not sure yet, froyo seems awesome but I love how my phone is set up right now...hmm

backup, install froyo, if you like it stay with it, if not restore your backup

I might install it just to check it out but not gonna keep it around till we get a custom rom version.

I played with the froyo rom its nice... its snappy and if I needed flash on my phone I'd stick with it but I'm supremely happy with BB1.1 and will be waiting happily until pete releases a froyo rom which by the looks of how well this other rom is doing shouldn't be too far down the road I'd be a couple weeks and we will be rocking a bugless-froyo build (but I could be wrong too )

I installed the froyo and it felr sluggish compaired to BB1.1. I might try it again cause i didnt wipe anything. Just waiting on Pete. I know he's messinh around with it. I can feeeel it.

i flashed it, but i dont think i want to keep it. it definately isnt as quick as bb yet

The kernel it comes with will go up to 800Mhz.

People have been saying that the kernel is come with for the rom is a 800mhz kernel which you then clock to that.... wifi is not working though do to protection of the makers of this is what i took from the original post ...
