sorry if this is a STOOPAD question but will darkedge ever work with bb1.1?

EDIT: DroidSloth just said in the Shoutbox at buglessbeast.com that the DarkEdge port for V1.1 probably won't be ready until Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

What features weren't running with other kernels?

In V1.0, if you installed kernels other than those on Pete's OP, then the automatic CPU scaling and memory management functions that loaded at boot wouldn't work. Now, with the changes Pete's made in V1.1, that's no longer an issue.

For the Launcher 2 with 5 screens and that grid drawer that you just click instead of drag - anyway to add icons down there? Like telephone, etc?

Either way, this rom is AMAZING. I first rooted with BB 1.0 and this is just insane. Easily much faster and battery life is again jaw droppingly amazing. Pete has done it again!

Was the reboot bug ever fixed (early on in 1.0, at least, using a notification sound that was on the sd card gave the phone fits, and prompted reboots upon connecting it to a PC via USB.)

The only fix I found for this problem is moving the sound you want to use from the SD Card where it's saved to the phone where the notification sounds are stored. This way you won't have the problem of 3-4 boot loops before the phone finally loads up. I used Root Explorer to do this a few weeks ago.

Remember that you will have to do this each time you want to use a custom sound after loading up a new rom.

Installed this morning after NexBeast started acting weird on me yesterday. (random reboots, Facebook stopped working, dropped calls)

Just setting things up but seems to be pretty smooth so far! Installed the new launcher pro as well...

so far, 1.1 was definitely worth the wait. installed over 1.0 flawlessly. even with the 800mhz kernel, this rom hauls! it could be in my head, but everything seems noticeably snappier. also, my phone got a lot faster even on 1.0 when i stopped using setcpu. night and day difference in speed. i also got a 30-40% increase in battery life. after work, my phone would normally be at 30-40%. after i uninstalled setcpu last week, my battery is 60-70% after a day at work. same usage. crazy!

It's not in your head lol. I had a few people testing this build and they also reported it being snappier and had even longer battery life than V1.0

I have one wish. Apps2SD. I love BB and have been using your ROMs pretty much the entire time I have owned my phone aside from testing a few others out. I would love to stick with BB but Apps2SD is becoming more of a necessity now. Any hope of ever seeing it in a ESE81 ROM or do I have to wait for a Froyo ROM?
