I have been playing around with some different themes on BB v1.1 but everytime I wipe data and cache and install a new theme I have problems restoring my titanium backup apps. It gives me some kind of parsing error message. Any ideas on how to fix this.

Anyone have a fix for this?

No, but I'm curious.

What theme you trying to install and why would you need titanium backup to get apps back when all you're doing is switching a Theme, which is nothing really.

In most of the threads it recommends wiping data and cache when changing themes. When I wipe all my apps are deleted and titanium backup will not restore them. I tried fixing permissions and changing the compression type but it ask giving me parsing error.

You can wipe partition or whatever but you don't need to do a whole wipe factory reset type thing for just a theme.
Just try putting on the other theme without getting rid of your apps.

I'd restore to your backup first and then just try again.

Maybe it's me, but I could not get Titainium to work as I wanted it to.
I prefer to use Astro File Manager in the market. Simple, straight forward, easy interface and does what I need.

Anyone know much about how app2sd is working for people and when Pete might get it to us?

I'm desperately awaiting that capability. My sweeterhome theme is maxing out the ram, more or less, but seems stable enough when I'm not editing it. Granted, I don't think there are any more widgets or apps I want to incorporate.

apps2sd has nothing to do with RAM.

Is your /system partition full? That's about the only thing it helps.

I had this happen, Mine was a corrupt Titanium backup. I reloaded a good working Nandroid Backup, made sure everything was the way I wanted it, then deleted all Titanium backups using the batch, then did a new Titanium backup from batch. Loaded the new rom and the Titanium restore worked to perfection. That was a new ROM though not a theme problem.

Wiped both. I tried Installing Adamz v6 rom, Installed perfectly. I don't know whats happening when I try to install Bugless. Can I install Bugless directly over Adamz now and see if it works? Im puzzled.

Adamz updated my phone to 2.1 build, I used his blue theme. It looks great, I had bugless v.7 installed when It first came out, and never updated from there. I started fresh, flashed back to 2.0.1 build, and re-rooted, reinstalled SPRecovery, and couldn't get Bugless to work. Adamz is working perfectly, any advantage to Bugless over Adamz?

Well you being on 2.0.1 would of been handy to know too. Why you still on that?
I only rooted an ROMed up droids with 2.1 so not sure what the differences are.

And switching new ROMs it's best to wipe EVERYTHING and get rid of the old ROM too and whatnot.

Updated to 2.1, Adamz ROMs work, BB doesnt. Im now running Adamz rom with Glass theme in blue. But I would like BB back. But it doesn't seem to wanna work now. :\
