    911 and GPS

I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer for me. I was told that a lot of custom ROMs have removed the code that allows the 911 operator from using the phone's GPS to locate you in an emergency. Can anyone confirm or refute this?

    Thanks
Loved my original Droid with a Sourcery ROM.
Liked my Thunderbolt, but would have loved it with a Sourcery ROM.
Love my Galaxy Nexus rocking a Sourcery ROM the most!

No issues with DroidMod, accuracy as good as it normally is with Maps. Showed less than 25 feet from actual location.
