First Time Rooter

I Rooted my phone today for the first time been looking into it for months and finall took the plunge, very glad I did but one question, when i get a notification my led doesnt blink at the top... running BB v1.0 Oc'd 1Ghz

try reinstalling the rom and make sure u do the data wipe before, too

actually it worked haha i just got an email for this and it started to blink green but i got handcent and when i tested the led blinker it didnt show up?

make sure its set to light up when you get a text in handcent

what did you do? I just loaded BB 1.0 last night and Handcent refuses to blink. I've checked all the settings and everything looks ok......

I know this wont be much help but i didnt really do anything it just started working on its own

With 2.1 led's only light up when the screen is off so you can't really test the notification in handcent

that is very true i totally forgot about that

actually if you'll press the power button right after selecting test it will darken the screen and led will blink.
