A few quick questions.

I've been looking around reading a good bit, trying to clear a few things up. I am sure most will get huffy, but I tried to read, and it seems I ether get confused as to what needs to be done, etc.

In the Bugless V1 thread, he lists about 4-5 different overclocking kernels to use, after I get BB installed, do I use the update.zip method to overclock the phone as well? Say the 1ghz kernel, do I download it, rename it, SPRecovery install, to overclock the phone. Or do I still need a program like Setcpu?

2. Themes, in the BB V1 post, there is several themes, do I just use the update.zip method to update the theme of BB to smoked glass etc?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

For both themes and kernels;
1.Download desired theme/ kernel
2.Copy file .zip over to phone
3.Rename to update.zip (the ".zip" part may or may not be needed depending on computer OS)
4.Unplug phone from computer
5.Enter SPRecovery
6.Choose "Install"
7.Click on "Allow update.zip install"
8.Choose "Install update.zip"
9.Let installation run
10.Reboot phone

TY very much. I just didn't know with kernels, if you had to have a program such as SetCPU to make the overclock work etc.

on most roms setcpu is needed for overclocking but on bb v1.0 pete eliminated the need for it by having the rom and kernel do all the work for you. you can still use setcpu if you wish but I would take pete's advice and let the rom manage everything.

TY sir. Got the glass theme installed and looking good. The only thing I'd change is the Battery in the notifications bar. Going to go read and see if I can find one
