Here's the deal, I had ALOT more plans for this release but I know everyone is getting very impatient. I figured it would be a good idea to release because I am too sick to be working on a ROM (recovering from tonsil surgery), I need to be sleeping. Also with the leak at a very high download count, I do not want the Beast to give the wrong impression. There are a ton of small things that most will never notice, as you will see these "things" resulted in a smaller overall ROM file size (just below 62MB) and a much much snappier system at any clock speed. Seems like I say this every time but this is my fastest and most stable release to date. I feel like I have missed out on listing alot of the changes, my head is not straight right now so when I remember them I will edit this post. What autorestore option? If I knew about it I would have added it to my rom lol I would suggest a wipe for sure

i dunno when you use cyanogen 5062 all you do is sign into google and then set your phone down for about 10-15 minutes and all your programs auto restore?

THANK YOU PETE! Hey all, I've never upgraded from one version to another. I've only flashed from one ROM to a completely different ROM in the past- so I've always wiped data and cache.

My question- do I need to wipe, going from v.9 to v1?

No, you don't. I did exactly what you're asking. V.9 to v1 without a wipe. You only need to wipe if your coming from a different ROM.
