Adding Percentage on Stock Battery Icon

I would like to know how to add percentage to the stock battery Icon, I have found some links but people have said it doesn't work with BBv9? Can anyone confirm this or let me how I can do it. Thanks

You need to learn ADB and pull your framework-res.apk, change the battery icons in res/drawable-hdpi to have the percentage on it. Put the new images in to the apk, zipalign it, then push it back to the phone. It's actually very easy once you know ADB and the other SDK tools, and a bit of Photoshop.

Thanks for the information but, is there an easier way than that seems like alot work for a n00b like myself. Is there a file I can download and just use MM or something??

Yes, you can find a MM theme that has the percentage with the battery. One like round battery. Also these are only in 100 80 60 40 20 15 10 increments. If looking for every 10 percent look at the Cyanogen Mod rom. As it is on there by default.
