WiFi quits working

Hi Guys! I'm currently using Bugless Beast 0.9 and I LOVE IT!!!

Using the Chevy Kernal too. Clocking at 950/250.

ANYWAY. . .everything works great with the exception of WiFi. Seems it "drops" when the phone goes to sleep.

Anyone else have this problem? I wasn't having it when I was stock, or when I was running just a standard 2.1 ROM from sometime in late December/Early January.

HELP!!! I don't have service where I work so I kind of rely on the WiFi.

What do you mean it drops? Wifi should drop out when you go into sleep (power saving), unless you're running an app that will keep it alive, like Pandora or another radio app. Does it drop out when you're running Pandora?

I mean it use to keep active an notify me when I got email. Now it drops off and my email doesn't push unless I wake it up.

I can't imagine this is as intended. It never did this before. I would imagine the running of Touchdown and Gmail would keep it active if nothing else.

Haven't run pandora for any length of time, so can't tell you. Sorry.

You know what? Nevermind!

I found a setting that I previously hadn't seen that shuts off WiFi when the screen goes off. Under "Advanced".

I'll try it tomorrow, but I'd bet that fixes it.
