BB V.9 Coarse Location Problem

Does anybody know why coarse location (cell tower based) doesn't work? It's really frustrating because I have several location aware apps that use that. Now I can only get a location if I open maps and let the actual GPS get a fix.

Can you name one so I can try it? I have one app, radar now, that uses cell tower fixes and it does seem to be working fine even though I'm inside without a gps fix. I also tried Where and it worked on a cell fix only. Not sure bbv9 is your issue.

Upon further investigation and insertion of my very large foot into my mouth, I've realized that the "Use Wireless Networks" box in the Location and Security setting was not checked. I guess that was on by default before and now it was off.

So, if anybody else is having this problem just go turn it on.
