You mean super user permissions? Or through root explorer?
Through terminal emulator:
Code:
su
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
chmod 755 /system/xbin/busybox
mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
sync
See if that fixes your issues.

I don't think it's a busybox issue, because mm checks for busybox and won't let you do jack unless it's setup right, but I just did an adb pull of the framework-res.apk, replaced the files that existed there with the files from the theme, and pushed it back. Worked like a charm. EFF mm for framework!!!
Woot!!!
lol
Bananas!

Really?? How bout Koush's cyanogen MOD ROM. I think he has had like only 4 updates since he brought it out of Beta.. Has all the features of most ROMs and some features other ROMS dont have. and it is the smoothest ROM I have ever been one. Ive tried Pete's, Chevy's, Adamz, DroidMod, and none compare to the stability of Koush's IMO.
Not bashing Pete's ROM just don't like seeing people saying other dev's are just pushing out updates because their ROM sucks or w/e. And When I was on Pete's I had to update litterally almost every day or every other day and most were bug fixes not adding new features. He is second on my list though as having the most stable ROM's.

I havent noticed much of a difference. I used to be at 800 and I am now running AdamZ at medium voltage 1.2. Are you using profiles?
-
I'm not sure what profiles are? All I know is after OC it, the battery life sucks.. goes from 100 to 40 in 4 hours.. running at about 700

Glad you asked! I created a noob-guide for just such a thing! Follow the link in my sig(nature line)! I'll be available via gtalk and/or that thread to help answer questions until around 10pm EST. It's around 7:30pm EST now.

Download the paid app called SetCPU if you don't. It allows you to setup certain if/then profiles to control CPU speed. Ie. If the phone is on standby/screen is off, then only run at XXXmhz. If the battery is XX%, then only run at XYXmhz.
