There must be some data saved if you only do it once. Case in point:
When I do one complete data/cache wipe, load a rom, and go to wifi, my router's encryption key does not need to be entered. It's there..even though I just wiped the thing clean.
If I do Pete's recommended two complete wipes, load the rom and go to wifi, the key is not there and I need to enter it to gain access to my home wifi.

i posted a little while ago (like 3/4 days ago) about getting an error 28 with the nandroid install.. i followed all steps as best as i could (wipe /data cache 2x each) and i tried redownloading.. error 28 is a corrupted data error..

do i need to put both the nandroid folder AND the update.zip in there? don't have much experience with nandroid updates, as i'm running 2.0.1 i can't just do the update.zip method

    thanks guys!

I followed this great write up to install BB, I am using v0.8 since a few days ago with no issues and I am now thinking of over clocking my phone(want to run up to 800) with a new kernel. The question I have is do I need to now clear off my home screens and go through with a full wipe of the phone again(and backup) or just start from step 45 while choosing the correct kernel for 2.1? I installed Helix as well as SetCPU already.

Also what happened to the link for BB v0.8 from the first post?

    T-Mo Note 3! (goodbye verizon)
I'm guessing I need to install a wireless tethering app for it to work? Would anyone happen to know where I can find that?

This has been running rock solid for me. Zero issues and amazing performance! Donation sent (again) and well deserved!!!
