Just switched from BB v1.1(2.0.1) to this BB v0.7(2.1) & love it so far. Is their any way to remove the "Car Home" launcher like before? Its the only stock app I would like to remove. The last ROM someone posted an "update.zip" I ran in Nandroid that removed car home, corp email, corp calander, & others. I ONLY want to remove the "car home" launcher app. Got used to it not being there when I car docked my Droid & now can't stand it Any help removing it would be appreciated, thanks.

Can you skin the phone app to smoked glass somehow? Call log, contacts etc?...been looking but not finding...

Holmes, I recall seeing over on Pete's Alldroid page that he gave 2 - 3 methods for removing a few apps (CarHome among them).

I removed CarHome through Titanium Backup and it was very simple and very effective, but there was an update.zip on Pete's that would remove several of what he considered to be the more useless (or replaceable) apps.

So I updated, and its apparently the same theme that came with the phone out of the box? I'm confused : /

i am trying to install BBv.8 and get error 25. How may folders should I have after I extract to nandroid folder. I have boot.img, system and meta-inf. Is this correct?

Anyone have issues with Swype & this ROM?

Yeah, every time I turn on the phone Swype says it was registered to a different one.

It's irritating enough I am trying out and begrudgingly using ShapeWriter.
