    RSDLite 5.0 Rooting Question

New unrooted replacement D1 - came with 2.2.3 - FRK76 rom .........Read everything and make sure you understand it all before you begin....
Flash with RSDLite5.0 to avoid danger of SuperOneClick taking control of your Droid!!

    Inst call for:
    1. "MC1_A855_1282081087_Recovery-Only_SPRecovery_0.99.3b.zip"
    2. "
MotoCache1_Complete_Root_v1.1-update.zip" download as "update.zip" on the sdcard. Used Pete's "root_update.zip"*****

Note: Fun stuff!! Danger flashing sbf - Use sbf listed above. Standard. Verified. Improperly unknown modded file might brick your phone. All at Your Own Risk....

To root - flashed "MC1_A855_1282081087_Recovery-Only_SPRecovery_0.99.3b.zip" with RSDLite5.0. In recovery, installed Pete's "update.zip" on SDCard. Downloaded and used Rom manager to change recovery to ClockworkMod - allows direct flashing of Pete's rooted roms from my sdcard (without renaming as update.zip). Think that's right.....

Worked out great!!!! Rooted the FRK76 2.2.3 rom!!! (detailed comments).

backed up rom with rom manager - clockwork mod

installed Pete's FRK76ODEXED.zip rom - rooted - no su pblm!!!!

Note - orig market app shows "purchased" apps - this is not on the mkt update: "Google Play" - instead you see miles of all the apps you installed .....
Google "updated" the mkt app automatically... lost the feature of seeing the "paid" apps....
