OG Droid + USB OTG ??

Hi all,

Does the OG Droid have USB OTG host capabilities?

I was wondering the same thing. I just got an OTG cord from Meritline but get no response from my OG Droid (Original Motorola Droid 1). It's rooted running CyanogenMod 7.2. I've plugged in a couple of USB drives and the LED's don't come on, nothing happens. Even tried rebooting while they were plugged in.

Has anybody been able to get USB OTG to work on an original Droid?

Yes it does. I'm not sure about mounting drives tho. I believe that I have tho.

Well ur missing an adapter shown here to turn it on when u boot it up then I will work.

Oh geeze, I just bought a generic micro-usb-type-b-male-to-usb-a-female-cable (standard OTG cable I believe).

This one:
USB Type B Male to USB A Female Cable

Looks like I still need the little dongle thingy. I'm researching a little more and finding more info. If you know of any evidence that a mouse will work please post it. Thanks again

I don't think mice will work as it wasn't built in until ice cream sandwich.
