phone runs faster battery runs longer. But with that said when I get a call sometimes the phone keeps ringing that's after I pick up and after so long of the phone running the sound sounds messed up untill I reboot, please fix I like you roms clean and fairly stable! Go into settings/cpu settings/ and change the lower value of 125000 to 25000 in the overclocking settings

Needed stability so just flashed GPA19..........I heard good things.

First thing I noticed is there is no ROM settings, only CPU settings. Are there settings to change the lock screen, battery, text color, ect?

GPA is designed to be as stock Android as possible. No frills here (and it's a beautiful thing).

I installed this two days ago along with Chevy's 1Ghz mv kernel, gotta say I'm impressed how well my D1 has been handling it. If you're looking for a stock appearing GB rom, I'd suggest giving it a try.

Been running this on mine and the wife's OG Droids and I must say it will be much easier to wait for the Galaxy Nexus with this ROM. It is without a doubt the best my poor old phone has ever ran! Thank You Peter and please don't ever stop the amazing work you do!

Thank you, a million times over. This ROM has put life back into my OG DROID. I was about ready to surrender. Now I get to hold off until it's time for a Bionic in January. Everything seems so snappy and the awful 2.2 home screen redrawing seems to be gone (I admit that might be because I formatted my SD card as well.).

I have a problem with whenever I make or receive a call, my speakerphone defaults to ON. Anybody have any ideas? I've already done a reset and cleared Dalvik cache.

OG Droid running GPA19

Edit: Found the problem... I'm using Better Youmail for voicemails and there is a setting that enables the speakerphone by default. Checked the box to turn it off and all is well.
