updated to 2.3.4 Build GPA16, now no notification bar

Greetings all, after installing 2.3.4 Build GPA16, I rebooted and discovered that I no longer have the notification bar at the top of the homescreen. Is this an error on my part, or is this new for the 2.3 version? If so, how do you turn it back on?

Something went wrong, either with the install or the downloaded zip. Trying downloading the rom again then wipe data/cache/dalvik/battstats three times and start over with a fresh install. That's what I would do...

I've tried GPA16 and it does have the notification bar.
Go into recovery and wipe data and factory reset, wipe cache,
Go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache and battery stats 3x

U can wipe data and factory reset three times, than wipe cache three times, etc.
Than install GPA16 again
But backup apps and data needed first

How did you install the ROM? Was it with a factory reset and cache wipe or perhaps RZRs wipe all function?

If you followed the correct steps installing then you shouldnt need to do a full wipe all over again. I have caused the notification bar to force close and disappear while messing around with xmls, etc. But I have always been able to just flash the ROM again without wiping anything and been able to get it back.

If it doesnt work without wiping then you will probably need to try it again with wiping everything.
