Pete's Next Phone?

It's about time when many of our contacts are coming due on the Original Droid. I'm looking to upgrade soon, but don't want to upgrade to a phone that wont be supported by some decent developers. Any news on what you are thinking of getting Pete?

Droid 3 looks great but no 4G. Droid Bionic? Or are you still waiting for a phone that is stock vanilla Android without any extra stuff?

This is what Pete had to say on G+ at the beginning of July:

Peter Alfonso - About the other devices; I have a Thunderbolt, gave it to my Mom to use because I don't like it, only bought it to be sure I will be grandfathered into the 4g unlimited data plan. When a better 4g device comes out on Verizon I will sell the Tbolt to get it. I also have a Nexus S 4g, don't use that either because Sprint service sucks in my area although I do build my GPA ROM and kernels for it for personal use. The way I see it, I will be sticking with the OG Droid for a while to come, it is my daily driver and I find it much more enjoyable than any other device available.

The real question is what will be ZV's phone with an unlocked boot loader....

It's no fun to play with a locked devise.

Mighty glad to hear that...in spite of the low memory it has so my flexibility.
The manufacturers are busy trying not to build another model that so much fun can be had with.
