Ok, I upgraded to GPA14 a couple days ago, and now I'm having issues with the Music player speeding up like someone hit a fast-forward button. It happens on the stock and Winamp player so it must be the Media service. I had the same issue a long time ago, but can't remember what the fix was. A reboot worked for a while, but it comes and goes. It speeds up for a while then goes back to normal speed.
Any input would be great
I would get this on occasions in the pat. The only thing I found to work was reinstalling the ROM. Sucks, but that always worked for me.

Had it happen once. Reflashed without wiping, and everything worked fine.
My gf had the same issue on her Droid
I fixed it by taking out her SD card and cleaning the contacts on the card with a pencil eraser and the inside if the slot with light sprays of compressed air. I make it a habit to do it to my phone and hers when there's a problem.

Thanks, I already reinstalled the ROM with no wipe, so I'll see what happens. It can't be the SD card though, because it also did the same thing on Pandora, unless maybe its cached on the SD card? mmmm..:dry:
This double speed playing (even the pictures of movies seemed to play at double speed, jumping ahead) occured after I used the USB cable to load some files to my tablet. It got better after I rebooted using a hard power down.
