manual data recovery?
Ok... I installed GPA14, and tried to follow all the directions peter gave. Namely the no using titanium backup for data recovery.
I reinstalled all my apps manually, but I had to use Titanium to recover my Angry birds save data, my wifi settings (I forgot the password so I couldn't reset it manually), bluetooth pairings, my mms messages, and my bookmarks.
I was wondering if there was a way to recover this kind of informaion without using titanium I looked for instructions and really couldn't find anything.
I'm only asking cause peter has said he won't bother listening to bug reports of people who use things like titanium to recover "data".
Any help is greatly appreciated

I struggled with this, too. What I discovered was that most of my apps had stored their data on my SD card and automatically utilized that data once I reinstalled them. For the things that don't, like the ones you mentioned (SMS/MMS, call log, etc.), I ended up looking into other backup/restore solutions that don't restore at the raw data level like Titanium Backup does. This avoids the potential corruption that would prevent you from being a good beta tester. Unfortunately, they can come with certain side effects and I haven't found solutions for every item type you mentioned (due to lack of looking, potentially).
P.S.
You can find your wireless passwords in /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf if you want to recover the password you forgot. Just open up a terminal and cat the file. Plain text. (Doh!)

Thanks for the input.
I did notice a problem answering my calls, but I noticed someone saying they experienced the exact same issue on the GPA15 beta build. Which I think means peter knows about it, but hasn't fixed it yet or doesn't have the ability to replicate it
