I despise those status bar widgets, but for those of you who do like them... have you tried Widgetsoid?

The Incredible and Droid 's layout is different in terms of framework and where certain files are placed. Not saying this isn't possible but giving the Widgets permissions to do certain things is what needs to be done. Remapping the destinations.
