SMS Popup LED notifications:
I decided to test this myself since so many have said this.
I installed SMS Popup on my Droid and the LED notifications work.
Here are all of the settings I changed.
Default Notifications --> Enable Notifications(ENABLED)
Default Notifications --> Notification Icon(Gingerbread)
Default Notifications --> LED Color(Green)
Default Notifications --> LED Blink Rate(Fast)
The setting that most likely made it work:
Additional Settings --> Screen On for Popup(Disable/unchecked)
I then turned the screen off and sent text message from wife's phone.

I think 15 seconds is way to short of a time.

So instead of flashing over I can wipe and install too right?
Sent from my Droid using DroidForums App

There is no reason to wipe if you have GPA10 but you can if you want to.

This is a stock build, I do not wish to change any default values as I do in Bugless Beast

Yea I thought that was the reason after I posted it.
I just use root explorer to edit the file and reboot.
Also thanks for this ROM and all of the work put into it.

Sweet
Runs like a CHAMP! You're awesome Peter.
One thing I've noticed is the compass app isn't working right, even after multiple re calibrations it shows north as east. Probably an app bug as GPS is fine.
Cheers!

That was a quick update. How'd your kernel turn out, Pete?
