[ROM STABLE] Stock Gingerbread Android 2.3.2 Build GPA11

installed a fresh 11 signal bars for wi fi and phone are gray not green like with 10!

I have everything running great in 10, I don't wanna mess up a good thing! lol

Any suggestions on a cpu temp app? I use android system info which is very informative however there isn't a temp.

I was just going by what SetCPU was showing. I noticed with a few other kernels I used that CPU temps would be up over 40C when I was only looking the info.
I never actually looked for a temp monitoring app/widget. That would be a nice thing to have though.

Just flash GPA11 over 10 without wiping. I use TempMonitor for monitoring my cpu temp (if you have a kernel that supports it - I use ChevyNo1's, and they do - if not, it gives you battery temperature), and my phone seems to be about 16-17 C while idle and 24-28 C with moderate usage. Even Angry Birds, which puts Slayher and Sapphire kernels up over 51 C, hasn't moved the Chevy above 44 C or so. Keep in mind that this is only for my phone - ymmv.

I'm having a really weird occurrence where I hit the screen power button. The lights on the buttons below the screen come on, and sometimes the lock screen appears for a second, but then before i can unlock it goes off again. I usually have to try at least twice to turn on the screen. any help guys? I'm using widget locker if that matters, but i never had this problem before.

What kernel are you using? I had that problem with the stock kernel in GPA10 and also with Chevy's pre-GB kernels, but I haven't experienced it with RaidZero that Pete initially recommended, the Slayher that Pete now recommends, or with Chevy's updated kernels.

I am indeed using stock, i'll give raidzerand chevy a shot since my droid doesnt seem to like slayher kernels. When i use slayher kernels, I often miss text messages if they come at a time when i havent touched my phone for hours. Thanks!

Thanks for the great work Pete!

I just wanted to say that I was having a problem with GPA10 with when I pushed down on the volume button and let it go all the way to 'vibrate,' the phone would start making this strange staticy sound. This seems to have been resolved with GPA11 though.
