I'm not sure, but I think I might be the only one who actually follows Pete on Twitter, but he had some exciting news last night:

"Screw it, I wiped and installed #Ubuntu 64x on a 200gb partition, soon as school calms down I can start on #Gingerbread for the #Droid"

This gives us absolutely no idea of when we can expect a full GBBB, but it's Pete we're talking about, so it'll be worth the wait.

He's been asking for help with some errors he's been having trying to compile GB for about a day. Of course there's no expected release time, because it's not like he has a past of trying to compile Gingerbread :P

I'm also excited for what this means for BB in the coming weeks/months

That all sounds nice, can't wait to see what he can get done. @webeougher your not alone. Been follwing him for a few months myself.
