Thread: Facebook/Twitter accounts disappearing

    Facebook/Twitter accounts disappearing

    I am not sure what may be causing it, but I log in to my facebook and twitter accounts and set them to sync with my contacts. If I go into settings/accounts, they are listed there.

    I use TweetDeck on a daily basis to check these accounts, but occasionally want to use the native apps. It seems like after a day or 2, the accounts disappear and I am forced to re-login or re-add them in the accounts screen.

    Anybody having anythign similar happening? Can someone with TweetDeck and BB verify that they're facebook and twitter accounts are staying intact?

    Yeah this has happened to me too. I don't know what is causing it. I have to like relogin my facebook every once in a while :S

    A while back I used to have to constantly sign into my Twitter account each time I loaded the app. Not sure what fixed it, but it's worth a shot to either:

    1. Reboot
    2. Go to settings > applications > manage applications and clear everything (data, defaults, etc.)
    3. Uninstall/Reinstall Apps
    Common Misconception:
    Leaving your GPS on drains battery.
    Truth is: GPS is only used when you open an application that requires it. You can leave GPS toggled on at all times.

    95% sure that this is because you have those apps stored to your SD.

    this is the problem, move fb and twitter to the phone and you'll be all set. I went through the same headaches a while back and couldn't figure it out at all.
