Made backup of SD card to PC then FORMATTED SDcard. Wiped data / cache 3X then formatted boot / system - wiped dalvik cache / bat stats.
Installed BB 6.2 - screaming fast!!!! Browser: Opera Mobile - resizes automatically for certain websites: Bloomberg.com - market snapshot - S&P 500 futures. Pinch / zoom for greater detail.

Have: maps - phone - internet - ftp - movies - music - recording - trading happening.... Relief!!!!! Calls work ok too. Heard Pete is working on a mental telepathy app that will channel thoughts into light pulses in the red eye on the Droid! Beta Development..... (well maybe one day!!)

BTW - stock kernel - fixing permissions (Rom Manager) is flying!! Nearly instant appearance of widget choices after pressing touch screen.
Temp is low too: CPU = 68F // Data = 80F - this is inside my studio - not out in the snow.

.:. Seems BB needs clean install all around (data / cache / sdcard) to work its best.

Another big issue you guys are most likely having is a common one. Everyone wipes data and cache. But just as important is formatting the system and boot partitions. You do that in cw from the partitions menu.

Sent from my Droid running whatever ROM and Kernel I chose to use today...

This is with p3droids 1.25 standard voltage kernal and my phone is always running 1.25. i never drop it down. this has been the second best thing i've done to my phone since i purchased it. rooting it was by far the best thing. All this *****ing about battery life is crazy. Over the year or so i've been here lurking about i've seen guys just flashing rom over rom over rom. Maybe this is why your phone sucks now and it might not be the rom. all you guys whining should sbf back to rooted 2.2 state and reinstall from there. after of course you wipe everything. maybe then it'll be a better experience for you. And stop creating new threads for the same damn problem. We know, "YOUR" battery sucks. enough!!
My Sentiments exactly......Thank You, Thank You!!!

In fact, if you didn't format your system and boot partitions, do that with a clean install and I'll bet you'll find it works better! (And select a kernel your phone likes of course.)

If you haven't, do it and if you still have problems switch roms...that's my advice.
