    Huawei Ascend M860

    Just a quick question,

I have a co-worker who recently bought a Huawei M860 with MetroPCS. I rooted it yesterday and installed Clockwork Recovery on it. What I want to know is, will bugless run on this phone. From what research I have done it appears to have similar specs to other phones with custom roms. Would anyone know if this is possible? Dont want to try and end up bricking his phone so I wanted to find out first.

    Thanks.

I would say no--it's built for the Motorola hardware.

edit: I am not an expert at ALL. But he would probably need something more specific.

deputc26 is right, wrong drivers built in to the rom, it's not windows, only the specific drivers needed are included.

Thanks for the help.. What about OC'ing? I'm assuming the kernel's such as Slayher are made for specific hardware as well correct?

Pretty much everything made for Android is device-specific, with a few exceptions. Different devices all have different hardware (regardless of "similar specs") and this means different drivers.
