Battery life seems to better than it was with 6.2 still getting alot FCs tho anybody know a situation? Thanks Pete for all the hard work!

Music Mod force closes when you try to edit the Recently Added playlist. Never tried this before, is it a known bug?

Volume rocker on lockscreen music controls doesn't skip tracks, that's unfortunate! Hopefully an update.

Upgraded from 6.2 which was already awesome and my battery life got even better. the only thing i noticed is my wireles tether doesn"t work. it errors at startup and says cant change permission in data/data/androiod.tether/bin/tether. anyone know of a fix for me. I'm tethering right now with a cable but there are times i just need wireless.

I am tethered right now to my IPad and writing this post after my update to v6.2.1 not sure what your issue is. I am using the app 'Wireless Tether' from the Market.

When I attempt to install BB 6.2.1 via clockworkmod recovery, it fails. The following is clockworkmod's log output. I initially ran the install with the original filename from both mirrors, but both failed with the same output. I then changed the name to update.zip to see if that would affect anything. All attempts failed for the same reason.

Can anyone help me out?

Did you wipe data/cache? If you are doing a fresh install, which you seem to be since you tried "both mirrors", then you need to wipe data and wipe cache. The usual is 2-3x each.

I eventually got it working. Neither of the mirrors would work after downloading, but the update downloaded through rom manager worked. I was also wiping data and cache when installing from the mirrors.

I'd tally that up to either: a) try using a different kernel (I like any of Slayher's v1.7) or b) did you restore your apps using Titanium Backup or something similar? On a previous upgrade I did a "replace all" and I think restoring some base system apps to earlier versions triggered a cascade of FC. just my two cents. have a good one!

I've been trying a ton of roms lately, and Bugless Beast with a Sapphire Compcache Kernel is BY FAR the snappiest, coolest, and most solid!
