    Battery Life, Kernels and Hardware

Many that have installed BB V0.6.1 or 0.6.2 are reporting better battery life and others are reporting worse. To see what the correlation is between Battery life, Kernels and Hardware, would you reply with what Kernel you are using, what phone you have, and if your battery life is better or worse.

    This could be interesting.

    Thanks
    Steve

Also, some have not calibrated their battery.

I just installed 6.2 with the included kernel, will report back later.

Can't use old stats between all ROMs, many ROMs look at the stats differently so it's best to calibrate whenever you see odd battery life (especially after switching ROMs). That and li-io (while they don't have 'memory') do loose some capacity as they age so sometimes you need to adjust the scale for the 'new' capacity.
You are right to be wary. There is much bullcrap. Be wary of me too, because I may be wrong. Make up your own mind after you evaluate all the evidence and the logic. - Mark Rippetoe

been using 0.6.1 since it came out and haven't notice a decrease or increase in battery life, seem about the norm for me ( still have to charge every night)
