By not deleting the built-in apps as described in the OP, will this cause a stall during bootup at the "droid eye".
This is the problem I am having.
Is there another way to delete the built-in .apk's without using Root Explorer?
Omg!!!!!!!! Welcome back benny you have officially brought me back to bugless i was on ud 2.5.0 i love this theme hopefully many updates to come this and adw ex is frickin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey benny im having troubles installing this theme like I stated earlier I was on UD 2.5.0 wiped data and cache to install BB then your theme when I did that the setup wizard forceclosed on me alot and screen kept dimming out so I wiped data and cache again then installed BB alone no theme install is perfect now I went to install your theme again and phone went berserk with fcs could you check to see if anything is wrong I've never had an issue before I've downloaded your theme on my phone and pc so I know it wasn't just a bad dl thanks in advance
It's not a boot loop. It just sits at the droid eye and goes through the boot animation over and over and the screen will eventually dim. If I do a battery pull and go back into recovery, I can wipe cache/data. However when I reboot, I get the problems Negatron is having where the setup wizard crashes and you get a blank screen.

If I do nothing it will stay that way.
If I do a battery pull and reboot it will do that same thing.
If I do a battery pull and wipe data/cache, THEN I get the setup wizard issues.
Still not sure how to remove apps from the system without using Root Explorer. I thought I could use Astro to do it, but it doesn't seem to work.
<edit> N/M, I used the terminal to remove the apps from the /system and all is well.
