switching to Ultimate droid

    switching to Ultimate droid

    hello im currently running bb .09 rooted and want to switch to UD 9.8 Do i have to do a complete wipe using android system recovery? or can i just put the update.zip on my sd card and install?

    I would recommend a complete wipe and nandroid install.
    Thundershed 1.4, imo 6.0

    Full wipe always seems to best option
    If you can unbrick it then it never was bricked, if it never was bricked then you didn't unbrick s#!t

    I would just wait till 10 comes out tonight so you dont have to switch to it after you just switched to 9.8. but full wipe for sure

    yup said yesterday they was finishing up testing and it would be out today. so should be up here in a little while hopefully. and i know how you feel just got my phone the way i liked it with 9.8 now gotta redo it all. oh well i love messing with it anyways

    This is fine with me. I don't really do that much with my phone anyway. I'll just have to re-install Milestone Music, my LWP and the Advanced MMS app.
